Leadership is supporting another or a team to reach the highest potential. But how do you enable that? Fixing, fire-fighting, proving with the answers etc won't evoke leadership in a person/team. First having a clear intent and then doing the work that is required to enable it, is important. A leader has to do the deep work to enable leadership in its truest form. A leader has to do away with one's stories, judgements, contexts, agendas; he/she has to transcend from ego consciousness to service consciousness to be able to hold that space that is required to bring in transformation.
