For any copyright, please send me a message.  The UK has experienced a rash of bad weather recently, as heavy rain has descended in bands across the country. The Met Office has issued several rain warnings for the UK over the weekend and into next week. Several flood warnings are also in place, as heavy rain threatens to cause chaos.  The Environment Agency has issued a total of 76 flood notices for the UK today, both alerts and warnings. Of these notices, nine flood ‘warnings’ urge people to take immediate action amid imminent flooding. A further 67 flood ‘alerts’ specify people should prepare for possible flooding.   READ MORE BBC Weather: 36 hours of extreme rainfall to batter UK  According to the Environment Agency, flood warnings are in place for the following areas: - Groundwater flooding in Barrow upon Humber - Low Barlings and the Short Ferry Area - Lower Frome from Dorchester to East Stoke - Lower Frome from East Stoke to Wareham - Low lying properties in the Upper Hull catchment - River Clyst from Broadclyst to Clyst St. Mary - River Teign (Lower) from Chudleigh to Kingsteignton - Roam Drain and River Hull at Hempholme - Upper Frome at Maiden Newton A comprehensive list of the 67 flood alerts is available on the Environment Agency website, and people should stay updated. Heavy rain is expected to continue in the UK for another week, making further flood alerts more likely. The Met Office currently has yellow warnings for rain in place from Saturday to Wednesday, October 27, as the potential for disruption increases. Over the weekend, warnings extend from the southwest of the country around Exeter, Plymouth and Cardiff, to the north at Aberdeen and Inverness. For the rest of the week, weather warnings are confined to the southwest of England, and on Wednesday in the midlands around Sheffield, Nottingham and Leeds.  READ MORE Met Office long-range forecast: Snow, frost and fog to BLAST Britain  The most affected region is the southwest around Wales and Cornwall, where a warning is extended from Brighton to Truro, and up to Cardiff. Here, rainfall totals are expected to reach two inches and there is a danger of gale-force winds reaching 54mph. The Met Office said: “A broad area of persistent heavy rain is expected to move northeast across this region between mid-Tuesday and early Wednesday, and may be accompanied by gale-force winds across the southwest of England for a time. “Heavy showers will likely follow in the wake of this rain during Wednesday, with these probably being heaviest and most numerous close to the Bristol and English Channel coastlines.”  Trending  “Through the combination of both the rain and following showers 10 to 20 mm of rainfall is expected widely across southern England and
