With ministers considering cutting air passenger duty on domestic flights to help save the company, the Prime Minister said he was "working very hard" but would not go further.
Instead, he said that the Government could not be expected to "step in and save companies that simply run into trouble", adding: "obviously people will understand that there are limits to what governments can do.
