Singapore's Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for November contracted to 49.8. It was the seventh consecutive contraction, but an improvement from October's 49.6. A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a number below means that the sector is shrinking. The electronics sector is into its 13th month of contraction, but analysts said the sector showed improvement in the past few months, and a continued recovery is expected.
