No Stay On CAA; SC Issues Notice To Centre On PILs Against CAA| Mathrubhumi News

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday said that it will not stay the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and issued a notice to the Centre on the petitions challenging the CAA. The Centre should respond to the notice in two weeks. The top court will once again hear the case on January 22, as it closes for Christmas holidays.
