Modeling for HDRI based spherical projection inside 3ds Max. This is how I model for HDRI spherical projection using 3ds Max.
At the start I've had some hiccups with setting up the proper texture resolution. Also I've been experimenting with stack setup for a while, ending up with using Turbosmooth, that's locked to smooth groups that are applied automatically based on the angles.
