There were stars all over the pitch in this epic game...but for me, one man stood out! Step forward Trent alexander-Arnold! An absolutely breathtaking display of Ball control, passing & crossing! And all this while running around with Sterling in his pocket!
While keeping the little big man quite, Trent absolutely bossed this game with his unbelievable talent that is now at a the level of the great Steven Gerrard in my humble opinion at this stage of their respective careers!
It's a shame this performance was lost to the VAR contreversy but if you watch carefully, you will see Man City got away with a blatant handball of their own from Kyle Walker after the Trent free kick you see here!
But hey, who cares, the points are now in the bag, so lets enjoy one of the main men who helped get them!
