Religious leaders step up opposition to next week’s conference

Religious leaders step up opposition to next week’s conference With just three days left to the opening of the Nairobi Summit or the International Conference for population and development (ICPD 25), the controversy surrounding it continues to intensify from political, social and religious circles. However, conference organizers and partners maintain that iCPD has neither an abortion or same-sex relations agenda but is an opportunity to focus on the development agreements of Cairo that were not realized.
