Ruptly is live from Katowice on Thursday, November 7, for the final plenary session and closing ceremony of the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) three-day summit.
The conference comes amid renewed concerns over Russian participation at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games after WADA said in September it had uncovered ‘inconsistencies’ in the data provided by the Moscow laboratory.
The findings led to the body to open an investigation into the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA), who have since responded to questions about the alleged ‘inconsistencies’.
Those expected to attend the conference include International Olympic Committee Chairman Thomas Bach, WADA departing President Sir Craig Reedie and WADA future President Witold Banka.
