CENTRE-NSCN (IM) TALKS FAIL TO BREAK DEADLOCK, GOVT LIKELY TO EXTEND OCT 31 DEADLINE

#Talks between the #Government_of_India and the #NationalistSocialistCouncilOfNagalim_Isak_Muivah continued on October 28 #without any #breakthrough in the #stalemate over the issue of #separateNagaFlag_and_constitution. It was the fourth formal sitting between the two groups since #political_negotiations resumed on October 10 in #NewDelhi after a two-month break. "The #dialogue, which lasted for more than four hours, remained #inconclusive and the #government is likely to #extend the October 31st #deadline. In the backdrop of ongoing political talks Under the aegis of the Naga Students' Federation-NSF, #CandleLightVigil_and_PrayerSession’ were organised throughout #Naga areas.
