To get a 9 in IGCSE English Literature, you need to know your texts extremely well. You need to have read them at least twice, making your own notes on characters and themes during your second reading. But also you need to practise writing exam responses, and be aware of what the examiner is looking for. I have scrutinised the past three years of AQA GCSE English Literature exam questions on Frankenstein, and have created a new question for you to try, for which I have also written a model response. So … keen to develop your understanding of the mark scheme, to write your own response to a sample exam question, before comparing it to my model? Stay tuned. This is the final video in a series of 6 on Mary Shelley’s glorious novel Frankenstein, all aimed at increasing your chances of achieving that feted Grade 9. This is Schofield on Shakespeare.
