The best blast of the year - the August stubble fields

For a few weeks each year, we have permission to use our local crop fields after the harvest has taken place. Within a couple of weeks, these fields will have been turned over into soil for winter crops and we take the opportunity to build up horse fitness and stamina. The horses are very keen and it is sometimes difficult to hold them back.
