Becoming a Law Teacher: Mock Job Talk Debrief

Becoming a Law Teacher: Mock Job Talk Debrief Faculty candidates who are invited for an interview at a law school will be expected to make about a one-hour presentation to faculty on the topic of the candidates' choice. This is commonly referred to as a "job talk." This video is a debrief of a mock job talk presented in a previous video.

We hope that this video will help candidates for law faculty positions prepare for their job talk presentations and understand this part of the faculty recruitment process.

Participants include George Washington University Law School Professors Emily Hammond, Robert L. Glicksman, Dmitry Karshtedt, Matthew Sipe, Kate Weisburd of the George Washington University School of Law, and Sean Scott, Assocate Director of the Association of American Law Schools and Professor at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.

Special thanks to the George Washington University Law School for hosting the mock job talk.
