Balala lauds the government’s efforts in eradicating drugs, arresting barons and dealing with insecu

Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary, Mr Najib Balala says the government’s efforts in eradicating drugs, arresting barons and dealing with insecurity at the Coast will spur the tourism sector in the region.
Drug trafficking and abuse along the Kenyan Coast has continued to paint the region’s image negatively.
However, Mr Balala said the tourism is currently ‘doing good ‘during the peak season. The CS urged the government to thoroughly flush out criminal gangs and the drug dealers.
