Petitioners challenging implementation of 1.5pc housing levy want the case referred to CJ

Petitioners challenging the implementation of 1.5 percent housing fund levy now want the case to be referred to Chief Justice David Maraga to appoint a three-judge bench to hear and determine the case. The parties including Federation of Kenya Employees –FKE AND Consumer Federation of Kenya- COFEK argue that their case raises substantive questions of law which cannot be determined by a single judge.
