Underwater Is As Generic As Its Title - Adam Rants Movies

Underwater is not a bad movie by any means but it's not a very creative one all the same. If you have seen a horror/thriller in the last decade, you should know exactly what to expect here. Underwater has traces of Cloverfield, the Descent, Gravity and many other survival thrillers. Kristen Stewart is once again the leading lady but does she have enough star power to actually carry the film? I'm thinking this might be another flop like Charlie's Angles.

Underwater IMBD Synopsis:
A crew of aquatic researchers work to get to safety after an earthquake devastates their subterranean laboratory. But the crew has more than the ocean seabed to fear.
