Our Preferred Korean Tea House in Suwon ~ a Gem for Tea & Culture Lovers visiting Suwon's Old Town

Our Preferred Korean Tea House in Suwon ~ a Gem for Tea & Culture Lovers visiting Suwon's Old Town We show you the wonderful and hidden Tea House in the old downtown of Suwon, right next to the busy Nam-Mun Market at Paldalmun Gate and a minute away from the famous Suwon Hwaseong Palace.
Come and visit Suwon with us and follow us on our Youtube Channel.
We show you our most favorite places which provide a lovely environment and excellent foods and drinks.
Here we show you the Tea House 시인와 농부 (The Poet & the Farmer).
The owner is a lovely artist who provides salted, boiled potatoes as side-dishes and her specialty: a fruity, red, fermented Omija- Fruit Tea, and a traditional, non-alcoholic rice brew named " GamCho" a pre-form of "Shik Hye".
The large selection of organic, hand-roasted Green and Fermented Teas are mostly Korean from Chirisan Mountain Area coming from Organic Tea Farmers - whom we know personally.
A recent event was held at the Tea House to draw awareness on the "미안했당" Project - a citizen project to protect the old forest of Jeju Island.
As a background Information: The Jeju Government plans to cut down an old area of trees in Jeju Island in order to make space for an additional Airport.
The organizers of the lovely Jazz Concert and Art Exhibition including Tea House Owner gathered a lovely group of people to bring awareness to the situation on Jeju Island.
The Event brought together Professors, Artists, Samsung Employees, Students and Activists.
We all had something in common: Our Love for Music, Art, Tea and Nature.

We love such people in Korea.
They have a fantastic sense of hospitality and are often highly art-loving people. They stand up for a cause and know how to connect with people of all ages and social levels.
