It’s easy to look at someone making an impact and wonder how they got there. We often assume impact is instant, but more often it comes from the small daily decisions we make where we get about the Father’s business. We begin to experience true and lasting fruit in our lives when we take life one day at a time, and Jesus is our greatest example of this. Each day of his life built upon the other with focused purpose. His great impact came from his great intentionality in all things. In Luke 2 we want to specifically look at Jesus’ example for us as a young boy when he boldly states to his frazzled and distracted family that He had to be about His Father’s business. In this moment, we see how Jesus brought every mundane routine of life to a place of eternal value. He embraced every day as an opportunity to grow in wisdom and stature, and because he did we stand transformed by His intentionality.
In our mission to connect people to Jesus and one another, Southeast Christian Church has grown into a unified multisite community. We have multiple campuses serving the specific needs of the areas in which they are located, while receiving centralized leadership and teaching from the Blankenbaker Campus in Louisville, KY.
