Deepika Padukone played a serious role in the film Chhapaak with the character of Malti but could not earn well enough on the box office as the film only collected INR 32 crores till now and now Deepika Padukone has reportedly decided to do light-hearted films and stay away from serious films as she has rejected Nati Binodini biopic and the role is reportedly being offered to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan now.
