2019 Annual Report: Highlights, Events and Activities | Dialogue Society

2019 Annual Report: Highlights, Events and Activities | Dialogue Society In 2019, Dialogue Society has continued to bring communities together through both theory and practice of dialogue. We have achieved this through roundtable discussions on topics like Brexit, Muslim identity and multicultural education. We are also pleased to have published our annual Journal of Dialogue Studies on critical dialogue and hosted our academic workshops presenting the papers.

Additionally, our book group has provided the opportunity for meaningful discussions about different cultural and intercultural world.

Dialogue Society is also proud to have hosted multiple community iftar and Christmas friendship dinners this year. Our Street Dialogue in 2019 has involved interviewing the public on key issues like knife crime in London. Lastly, the Society has hosted 10 UK-wide seminars and discussions on radicalisation.
