They don’t teach these time and sanity saving tape measure tricks in Contractors School! You should learn them now to help you in solo measuring situations... when you don’t have someone to hold the other end of the tape, or can’t hook it to pull tension. Before you judge me on this one you should really give these methods a try... I think you may even impress your friends and co-workers with these hacks for measuring. A little background: I have been building for over 20 years with my brother Jaime. Our father was a builder and architect, so we were on a job site “helping out” in the summers all through school and continued the family building business after college.
