Wow, it's finally happening ya'll - with our wedding just a few months away, I thought I'd better get a crack on this whole wedding dress thing! Since Luciano proposed (back in 2018, yes, I have had a lot of time, so why did I leave it to the last minute?...) I have really wanted to make my own wedding dress. It just took me A WHILE to find the pattern that felt "right". & sorry for the slightly click-baity thumbnail, but it ain't going to be a big, puffy, white affair; that didn't feel right either. Instead, I am envisioning a sleek, dark-red, 1930s evening gown. Maybe even add a red lacy fascinator, a fake-fur (or vintage) white stole, and have my hair done in finger waves. *chefs kiss* 😚👌
By the way I am using McCall 9177 for the dress pattern.
