Is Singapore Really Expensive? - Cost For Foreigners 🇸🇬

Is Singapore Really Expensive? - Cost For Foreigners 🇸🇬 We have heard before that Singapore is really expensive and we felt a bit intimidated by that so when we first started planning a trip in Southeast Asia, we got Singapore off the list because we assumed our budget wouldn’t stretch to cover this pricey country while trying to visit as many countries as possible on our first year, and then we changed our mind. After a year in the region, we saved up and decided that we will go to Singapore anyway. The fact is, Singapore has been ranked 4 years in a row on being the world’s priciest city to live in. That’s still pretty intimidating but we made it anyway. So today we decided to share with you how expensive is Singapore covering both fixed and variable costs covering transportation, Sim Card, cost of attraction, medical cost, food & drink cost, and cost of accommodation.

SafetyWing - Having travel insurance is essential, we just switch from world nomad to SafetyWing because SafetyWing offers better medical coverage of up to 250,000 USD instead of 100,000 USD from World Nomads. This will include the costs related to hospital visits, such as nursing services and the room/bed itself, as well as intensive care. Moreover, SafetyWing will also cover the costs if you are charged for utilizing an ambulance in your respective location, albeit. It’s also flexible – You can basically think about this plan like your Netflix subscription. You have a monthly payment and can cancel whenever you need to. This is great for short-term travelers because you can just subscribe for the time you’ll be traveling and cancel when your trip is over. Check It out here :

Hi, We are Jimmy and Tah,

American and Thai Millennials left the career in military and finance to become full-time travelers, documenting our memories along the way. Met in August 2015 in South Korea, kicked off traveling in September 2017 with $4000 in a savings account and first started publishing our journey on the way we live the life we have always dreamt of - traveling and being able to work wherever we love ( as long as there is Wi-Fi and coffee)

☼ CURRENT STATUS: homeless, live the life out of luggage, travel non-stop, and grow love along the way.

☼ Still want to know more about each of us ? :
