Following on from the reggae session I uploaded, here's a slice of funk music recorded on GarageBand for iOS. My favourite funk genre is really the grittier sounds of roughly 1970-74. The technology of the time was limited in number of tracks and the tape formulations weren't yet up to the disco era of a few years later. These imperfections can in part be reproduced on GarageBand....
