Here's a link to the 'real' video of Flawed Recording. By God's grace I've been able to upload one song a week for 52 weeks in 2019. Thanks to my family (especially my wife) for your patience through this project. Thanks to my musical friends who both encouraged and collaborated with me on this project. Thanks mostly to God for His beautiful gift of music. I've found it to provide great comfort and lasting friendships in my life.
As for 2020 - I do plan to keep uploading occasionally; however, I'm not committing to 52 songs. :)
Why am I uploading these songs?
I've set a goal to record and upload 52 cover songs in 2019. The idea behind this "just for fun" project is to produce an archive of songs (some church-based, some not) that have meant something to me through the years.
Recording Process
More detailed tech stuff is listed below, but here's an overview of how these videos are made. The videos in the "52 Covers" project are live covers, that is the aim is to capture a live performance on video with no lip syncing. Sometimes I may overdub a little bass guitar to "beef up" the track, but, for the most part, these videos are "one-mic, one-take."
