In US news and current events today, the latest shocking example of American police misconduct comes out of Aurora, Colorado where Aurora Police Department officer Nate Meier was found apparently passed out drunk in his unmarked patrol car. Despite apparent evidence of drunk driving and body camera police footage, Meier was not arrested on DUI-related charges. Meier later admitted to alcohol drinking on duty but is still employed by the department.
