Grief and Trauma are still common in Liberia, a country that is haunted by a 14-year-old Civil War. An Ebola outbreak also killed over 4,800 people. Experts believe that a tenth of the population suffers from mental illnesses. But, for a country with only one registered psychiatric hospital and few health workers with adequate knowledge of mental illness, Community Socio-Therapy is helping fill this gap.
