Rep. Adam Schiff, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, questioned Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, an Army officer who works for the National Security Council, who listened in on the July phone call between President Donald Trump and the Ukrainian president in which Trump asked him to investigate former vice president Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. "Without hesitation, I knew I had to report this to the White House counsel," Vindman said, saying he had concerns about what unfolded in the call.
