Reusing clothes | Creating your own new outfit | Teaching Minimalism

Hello Moms and Dads!
As Parents we are very happy on seeing our kids grow up fast at the same time it’s hard to see those cute little frocks which don’t fit them any more ☹ well when I sat down cleaning and clearing up my little ones cupboard this summer holidays it was almost half her wardrobe of clothes that won’t be of use any more I mean HALF HER WARDBROBE !! All those swimming sessions during the week after school are really stretching her… well fair enough 😊 physical exercise and a healthy diet are a must for every child but what about those clothes is what I wondered? so I bought in a vacuum bag filled it up with my favourites as it’s really hard for me to say goodbye to any of them yes I have treasured them typical me or at least until I know what best I can do to them 😉 and the rest were all in a donation bag given for charity!
So far now here is a short video tweaking a frock while keeping most of the stitching intact and altering it in a very smart way and using it up as a skirt which is good to go 😊

By reusing the clothes as a parent as a mother didn’t have to include of me sitting down and teaching in words about minimalism but it all worked in a fun and practical way teaching my kid without her realising that she is learning on using and re using the same clothes, creating fashion and setting a trend for others!
