A way to precisely adjust the length of wood I am cutting on my Jessem Mite R Excel miter gauge. If you have a standard miter gauge you could put a piece of plywood (or solid wood) on the front of the miter gauge with t-slots in it to achieve the same thing. This should be usable on many other miter gauges. I find it very handy for cutting 45 degree cuts for making frames when precision is important.
