Full MX FUEL Launch - This new MX FUEL Hand Held Core Drill from Milwaukee Tools is capable of coring up to 6” holes in reinforced concrete, and features a patented clutch and autostop technology that keeps you from being tossed from a ladder or flipped entirely when the drill get bound in concrete.
Milwaukee also suggested the concept of all-day coring with the use of two batteries. They based this on it taking 45 minutes to drill out 9 3” holes in cinder block, and the same 45 minutes to charge the battery back up to full.
They also built a compact angle adjustable core drill stand with removable wheels and a tool-free carrier that can be lifted up off the mast for anchoring onto a wall.
Based on the promised performance, it appears Milwaukee is going after the Weka DK12 from Diamond Products, but we’ll have to wait to see how it performs once demo units become available.
