Leaders of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russian Federation, India, China and South Africa) meet in Brasilia on Wednesday, November 13 for the first day of this year’s summit. The 11th BRICS summit will focus on the theme “BRICS: Economic Growth for an Innovative Future” and leaders are set to discuss the strengthening of the countries’ cooperation on science, technology and innovation; digital economy; fight against transnational crime, money laundering and drug trafficking; amongst others topics.
