There is always work to do whether you are homesteading and living in the country or living in the city. We left the city 3 years ago for the country and the peace and quiet lifestyle. We are off grid and not being tied down to utilities is awesome. There is a high sense of freedom when it comes to not having to worry about paying utilities. The money that is freed up for other things is a blessing!
There are pros and cons to everything, so making sure you do your part is really vital to making sure your homesteading life goes smoothly. Working together is key.
