Women and girls account for 70 percent of global human trafficking victims, according to a United Nations report. Most victims are trafficked for sexual exploitation. It's a severe humanitarian issue that most countries find almost impossible to tackle. Conflicts, weak rule of law and poor socio-economic conditions in some regions of the Middle East, Asia and even Europe enable conditions for trafficking. Unfortunately, the efficiency of policies designed by Governments to combat and prevent it is debatable. #Trafficking
