Aquascape Build, IAPLC 2019 Rank 15 Pt. 1 - Planted Aquarium Ideas & Inspiration, Japan River Layout

Aquascape Build, IAPLC 2019 Rank 15 Pt. 1 - Planted Aquarium Ideas & Inspiration, Japan River Layout Chapter 1 of a series talking about my 2019 IAPLC work, Amano-Gawa. This video will be going through the ideas, inspiration, and study for the layout. This work is recreating the nature of a Japanese stream. The title, Amano-Gawa, means "Milky Way Galaxy", or literally "Heaven's River" in Japanese, but here instead refers to Takashi Amano-- "Amano's River," a layout with all Japanese species of plants and prominently featuring Riccia + Hairgrass, the combination popularized by Mr. Amano.
