Ext. South Maui-Night ARONA a dashing; local as can be bouncer, stands afoot a paint chipped trailer. Passed off as a night club; a considerable honor he keeps as the doorman; charismatically maintaining the balance of the est.
At the foot of the stairs not far from the parking lot, Arona stands; relents a sigh, he recycles ocean air. Suddenly a loud squeak shoots passed from a couple feet away.
An old red, white and blue painted ford ranger; jerks it’s tires(at a 35 degree angle) against concrete bumper lining the parking lot.
Through the windshield of the trump mobile; he locks eyes with an old man sporting an angry guerilla warface, struggling to free himself of his seatbelt. Not bothered; Arona carries on with the cans.
Suddenly the man in the truck appears erect outside the now open doorway of the super b🦉 blimp. If but for two seconds; he stands. Only to return seated, after his legs appear to give out.
Eager for more the man musters another attempt. This time he stands managing to stumble up to the handsome Jedi.
-“I’m sorry man; I can’t let you in tonight. Comeback tomorrow.” Arona suggests.
-“Why?” Asked the old man.
-“You’re legs don’t look strong enough to see you through.” Arona replies
-Irritated; the man fires, “WTF does that mean?”
-“it means your motor skills seem a bit slow to maintain safe level of consideration in this establishment. And; it’s my job to maintain that level sir.” Pours Arona; from an ever so stoic stance.
-with smug dripping from his upper lip; the man utters;”I’d like to report you to someone.”
-Thus; This Video Was Born-
It was hard to tell. Lots unsettled inside this old soul. Regardless; “a knife is a knife”. And “Peter Pans gots kids.”
Time to play silent scope and “neutralize the target”.
Hats off to Ame Maile(Homie/Fellow Bouncer); for securing the knife, after a well timed knee tap/hip toss.
I only began documenting him; after he threatened to report my behavior. Not uncommon for security personnel (in my observation) All the best to everyone involved. Including this OG warrior. And Y O U!
