Glute activation has been a buzz word in the industry for years. Oversold to women on infomercials and booty-bootcamps, many now overlook the important role of the glutes in becoming a technical lifter. Squatting, deadlifting, and virtually all other athletic movements require use of the glute muscles. Many of us suffer from movement dysfunction as a result of a sedentary lifestyle or bad habits learned early on. These are my 4 favorite fixes to help improve glute activation.
