Protesters flood the streets of Barcelona on Saturday, October 26, in support of jailed Catalan leaders. Barcelona has been shaken by a series of protests and strikes after nine former officials were sentenced to between nine and 13 years in prison on Monday, October 14, for their role in Catalonia’s unauthorised independence referendum of 2017.
