His father sold many of the family belongings to keep his chess career intact Aronyak Ghosh is a very big talent of Indian chess. He won the bronze medal in the under-16 section of the World Youth Championships 2019. His father a former chess player and now a chess arbiter, keeps his son's passion for chess alive by making some great sacrifices. He has often sold off family belongings to make sure Aronyak can participate in tournaments.

Aronyak's mother who is a lawyer travels with him to tournaments. AICF training camps have been very helpful to Aronyak. He gives an example of where he learnt endgame play from Ramesh RB and Dejan Bojkov at a recently concluded camp and was able to make use of the learnings in his game immediately to win round three of the World Youth. The youngster is now just 1 IM norm away from his title. Get to know Aronyak better.
