Fighting against a modern-day poll tax in Florida

We're going to court on Monday, Oct. 7, to fight SB7066, the poll tax law that restricts Amendment 4. This law ignores the will of over 5 million Floridians who voted for Amendment 4 and puts a price tag on the right to vote for hundreds of thousands of people.

The fact remains: Poll taxes are illegal. Our Executive Director Micah Kubic explains why SB7066 is the worst kind of voter suppression tactic.
