As part of my Performance Robots stage show I want to add some other visual effects to the stage. Inspired by Deadmau5 I decided to build a modular giant RGB LED visualiser with 720 Neopixel LEDs controlled by DMX. Each module is also independent and consists of three 1 metre length strips of 60 LEDs. There are 12 strips in total which can be used as multi-band graphic EQ or other displays.
I'm using QLC+ lighting controller to control everything so this will tie in to my other DMX controlled robots.
