There is heightened concern if the New River fails to improve. Those living along the river bank have been enduring for weeks with no relief in sight. While the smell and other chemicals emanating from the water have hundreds worried, there is also the fear that the potable water will become affected. Today, in an interview with the Operations Manager of the Belize Water Services, David Pascacio, he put that fear to rest.
