How to Refill a Pilot Varsity Fountain Pen

A Pilot Varsity fountain pen ( ) might seem like a disposable pen, but it's actually refillable. Refilling the pen isn't super easy the first time, but it is very doable once you know how and you get a fee for the pen and its components.

You don't technically need any special tools to do this job, but it'll be easier if you have:

- Pliers, I used a Leatherman ( )
- A fountain pen syringe:
- Latex gloves
- Something to protect your desk
