"The main message that comes from our debate yesterday afternoon on the wider Middle East is the strong commitment from the European Union side and the member states to support any initiative that is inclusive and that has full ownership in the region that can lead to de-escalation and more cooperation, even if limited, more cooperation in the Gulf," she said, after a informal meeting with foreign ministers from EU member states in Finland.
They discussed a wide range of issues from the conflicts in Syria and Yemen to maritime security and Iran's compliance with the nuclear deal.
