Today we are taking an upclose look at the 2008 Guitar of the Month for March called the Gibson 50th Anniversary Flying V in Brimstone Burst finish. This is a unique Flying V limited to 1000 in production that commorated the 50th Anniversary of the original 1958 Korina Flying Vs. While these are not made of Korina, they are still based off of that style of Flying V's body shape. These are full of many unique features such as a maple top, ebony fretboard with Split Bock Inlays (Called Super 400s) and a Ted McCarty Gibson Logo that was never used. Originally these also had Steinberger gearless tuners and 57 Classic and 57 Classic + pickups.
