Pupils in the Philippines are having their lessons in make-shift classrooms in the pouring rain a month after the area was ravaged by twin earthquakes. Hundreds of buildings including local schools were damaged when the magnitude 5.4 and 5.9 twin quakes rocked Batanes last month on July 27. While teachers wait for their classrooms to be rebuilt, they have set up large tents outside where they hold lessons during the monsoon rainy season. Teacher Mimie Andal filmed the temporary classrooms during a storm on Monday (19/08) morning on the remote Itbayat island.
