Di Pogson was heartbroken when her husband died suddenly in 2014. As her grief subsided, she joined an online dating site, where she was drawn to the profile of a jet-setting businessman called Kevin Thompson. Kevin began to ask her for money, fabricating all sorts of reasons from having a vet's bill to pay to being stuck abroad. As the requests continued, the police became involved - leading to the shocking discovery that ‘Kevin Thompson’ was a false profile, set up by a gang of cruel fraudsters who had actually duped her out of £40,000. Di joins us alongside dating expert Eden Blackman.
