Demonstrations take place in several districts of Hong Kong on Sunday, August 11, as part of ongoing anti-extradition protests.
The protests follow a general strike which halted the city earlier on Monday and was joined by workers from various sectors.
Hundreds of thousands have taken part in the protests since the end of March and despite the bill being suspended indefinitely, protesters continue to hit the streets to demand that it be withdrawn entirely and for Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Carrie Lam to resign.
