This is Part 5 of this DIY series of videos where you will learn how to remodel a master bathroom from start to finish, step by step, day by day and project by project. In this master bathroom renovation, we will convert a standard shower to a closet, convert a garden tub to a stand up tile shower, change the cabinets and countertops, replace and resize two windows, add 4 corner shelves and an oversized boxed nitch, rebuild a box bench and add a front ledge, tile the bathroom floor, add electrical plugs and lights , move water lines and re-plumb the shower drain. We will also install the Wedi waterproof shower system. The stand up tile shower will be trimmed with metal trim.
We will take you along with us for all the good, the bad and the ugly. We will explain what we are doing and why we are doing it. As well as go over alternate ways to do it. We are going to show you what tools we use and why we use them. We will also cover other tools that could also be used for the job. We will post videos as we go along in the project so you can interact with us as we are doing the project.
