Harewood House is a country house near Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Designed by architects John Carr and Robert Adam, it was built, between 1759 and 1771. The landscape was designed by Lancelot "Capability" Brown, and spans around 1,000 acres. An excellent place; Wendy, Zoe, Andy & I spent all day exploring the house and gardens (the walled garden is particularly good), but, feel that another visit is needed, in order to see it all.
